America.com for sale!

I was very surprised to read that America.com is going up for auction. The reserve price has been set at a whooping $1,000,000, but then again that’s not a bad price if you have the cash for what must be one of the best domains to have.

Just think anyone who purchased England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and even Unitedkingdom.com when all the best domains were available, could one day make a fortune from them! It also got me thinking, whoever thought up the name Google, Facebook, Youtube for their business, and who would have thought they would become such well known names today.

I personally have a habit of thinking of good names and buying them just in case, my list of domains gets bigger each year, well you just never know!
