Working in the support team meant I came across many frequently asked questions and “I have forgotten my password” was a very popular one.

So here is some information to help you if you have forgotten yours:

If you have forgotten your “My Account” password, you can reset it by going to www.lcn.com/account/password_reset, here you will be asked to enter the email address you supplied when you created your LCN account. Your password will then be reset and the new one sent to the email address provided.

If you have forgotten your username and password or if you no longer have access to the email account you entered when registering, then you would need to call a member of our support team on 0870 7440823 who will be happy to help you. They will ask you to confirm some security questions, normally the full name of the person on the account, post code given on the account and a security question, we can then provide you with a new password.

To avoid this happening try thinking of a password that would be hard for you to forget, for some people it may be your first pet, an embarrassing favourite song that no one else would be able to guess you know all the words to, or your favourite food maybe. But remember don’t make your password too easy, you don’t want others to be able to guess it. Try making the password more secure by adding numbers to it, and upper and lower case letters.
